Powder coating resting angle
As a collection of powders, powder coatings not only have natural flow properties, but also have the ability to hinder flow and accumulate due to the main friction and self gravity between powder particles. When a freely flowing powder coating slowly falls from a high place and naturally accumulates into a cone on the water surface, it reaches a static state. The angle between the surface of the cone and the horizontal plane (i.e. the inclination angle) is called the angle of repose.

GB/T16913-2008《Dust physics test methods - Dust angle of repose tester (injection limited bottom method)
Principle of Rest Angle Test:
Inject enough dust to fill the overflow tray from the funnel into the horizontal tray; Measure the acute angle between the inclined plane of dust accumulation and the horizontal plane at the bottom, which is the dust resting angle.
